libdico1 software package provides RFC 2229 compliant modular dictionary server (shared library), you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install libdico1
libdico1 is installed in your system.
Make ensure the libdico1 package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep libdico1 *
You will get with libdico1 package name, version, architecture and description in a table
