libdevice-usb-pcsensor-hidtemp software package provides Perl module to interface to the HidTEMPer thermometers, you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install libdevice-usb-pcsensor-hidtemp
libdevice-usb-pcsensor-hidtemp is installed in your system.
Make ensure the libdevice-usb-pcsensor-hidtemp package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep libdevice-usb-pcsensor-hidtemp*
You will get with libdevice-usb-pcsensor-hidtemp package name, version, architecture and description in a table
