libdbus-glib-1-2 software package provides simple interprocess messaging system (GLib-based shared library), you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install libdbus-glib-1-2
libdbus-glib-1-2 is installed in your system.
Make ensure the libdbus-glib-1-2 package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep libdbus-glib-1-2 *
You will get with libdbus-glib-1-2 package name, version, architecture and description in a table
