libdate-hijri-perl software package provides Perl module to convert Gregorian dates to Hijri and vice versa, you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install libdate-hijri-perl
libdate-hijri-perl is installed in your system.
Make ensure the libdate-hijri-perl package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep libdate-hijri-perl *
You will get with libdate-hijri-perl package name, version, architecture and description in a table
