libcyrus-imap-perl24 software package provides Interface to Cyrus imap client imclient library, you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install libcyrus-imap-perl24
libcyrus-imap-perl24 is installed in your system.
Make ensure the libcyrus-imap-perl24 package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep libcyrus-imap-perl24 *
