libcyrus-imap-perl software package provides Interface to Cyrus imap client imclient library (metapackage), you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install libcyrus-imap-perl
libcyrus-imap-perl is installed in your system.
Make ensure the libcyrus-imap-perl package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep libcyrus-imap-perl *
You will get with libcyrus-imap-perl package name, version, architecture and description in a table
