libcupsppdc1 software package provides Common UNIX Printing System(tm) - PPD manipulation library, you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install libcupsppdc1
libcupsppdc1 is installed in your system.
Make ensure the libcupsppdc1 package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep libcupsppdc1 *
You will get with libcupsppdc1 package name, version, architecture and description in a table
