libcoin80-dev software package provides high-level 3D graphics devkit with Open Inventor and VRML97 support, you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install libcoin80-dev
libcoin80-dev is installed in your system.
Make ensure the libcoin80-dev package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep libcoin80-dev *
You will get with libcoin80-dev package name, version, architecture and description in a table
