libclass-std-fast-perl software package provides faster but less secure replacement for Class::Std, you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install libclass-std-fast-perl
libclass-std-fast-perl is installed in your system.
Make ensure the libclass-std-fast-perl package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep libclass-std-fast-perl *
You will get with libclass-std-fast-perl package name, version, architecture and description in a table
