libchart-gnuplot-perl software package provides module for generating two- and three-dimensional plots, you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install libchart-gnuplot-perl
libchart-gnuplot-perl is installed in your system.
Make ensure the libchart-gnuplot-perl package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep libchart-gnuplot-perl *
You will get with libchart-gnuplot-perl package name, version, architecture and description in a table
