libcdio13 software package provides library to read and control CD-ROM, you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install libcdio13
libcdio13 is installed in your system.
Make ensure the libcdio13 package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep libcdio13 *
You will get with libcdio13 package name, version, architecture and description in a table
