libcdio-paranoia-dev software package provides library to read digital audio CDs with error correction (development files), you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install libcdio-paranoia-dev
libcdio-paranoia-dev is installed in your system.
Make ensure the libcdio-paranoia-dev package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep libcdio-paranoia-dev *
You will get with libcdio-paranoia-dev package name, version, architecture and description in a table
