How to uninstall or remove libcamel-1.2-45 software package from Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr)

You can uninstall or removes an installed libcamel-1.2-45 package itself from Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) through the terminal,

$ sudo apt-get remove libcamel-1.2-45 

Uninstall libcamel-1.2-45 including dependent package

If you would like to remove libcamel-1.2-45 and it's dependent packages which are no longer needed from Ubuntu,

$ sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove libcamel-1.2-45 
Use Purging libcamel-1.2-45

If you use with purge options to libcamel-1.2-45 package all the configuration and dependent packages will be removed.

$ sudo apt-get purge libcamel-1.2-45 

If you use purge options along with auto remove, will be removed everything regarding the package, It's really useful when you want to reinstall again.

$ sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove libcamel-1.2-45
