libcairo-gobject2 software package provides The Cairo 2D vector graphics library (GObject library), you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install libcairo-gobject2
libcairo-gobject2 is installed in your system.
Make ensure the libcairo-gobject2 package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep libcairo-gobject2 *
You will get with libcairo-gobject2 package name, version, architecture and description in a table
