How to Install libc6-armel software package in Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr)

libc6-armel software package provides Embedded GNU C Library: ARM softfp shared libraries for armhf, you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,

$ sudo apt-get update
$ sudo apt-get install libc6-armel

libc6-armel is installed in your system.

Make ensure the libc6-armel package were installed using the commands given below,

$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep libc6-armel *

You will get with libc6-armel package name, version, architecture and description in a table
