libbpp-core-dev software package provides Bio++ Core library development files., you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install libbpp-core-dev
libbpp-core-dev is installed in your system.
Make ensure the libbpp-core-dev package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep libbpp-core-dev *
You will get with libbpp-core-dev package name, version, architecture and description in a table
