libboinc-app-dev software package provides development files to build applications for BOINC projects, you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install libboinc-app-dev
libboinc-app-dev is installed in your system.
Make ensure the libboinc-app-dev package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep libboinc-app-dev *
You will get with libboinc-app-dev package name, version, architecture and description in a table
