libavl-dev software package provides AVL tree manipulation library - development, you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install libavl-dev
libavl-dev is installed in your system.
Make ensure the libavl-dev package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep libavl-dev *
You will get with libavl-dev package name, version, architecture and description in a table
