libavis-dev software package provides high-performance publish/subscribe event router (C client library), you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install libavis-dev
libavis-dev is installed in your system.
Make ensure the libavis-dev package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep libavis-dev *
You will get with libavis-dev package name, version, architecture and description in a table
