libasound2-udeb software package provides shared library for ALSA applications (udeb), you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install libasound2-udeb
libasound2-udeb is installed in your system.
Make ensure the libasound2-udeb package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep libasound2-udeb *
You will get with libasound2-udeb package name, version, architecture and description in a table
