libapt-inst1.5 software package provides deb package format runtime library, you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install libapt-inst1.5
libapt-inst1.5 is installed in your system.
Make ensure the libapt-inst1.5 package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep libapt-inst1.5 *
You will get with libapt-inst1.5 package name, version, architecture and description in a table
