libapache2-mod-suphp software package provides Apache2 module to run PHP scripts with the owner permissions, you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install libapache2-mod-suphp
libapache2-mod-suphp is installed in your system.
Make ensure the libapache2-mod-suphp package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep libapache2-mod-suphp *
You will get with libapache2-mod-suphp package name, version, architecture and description in a table
