libapache2-mod-authnz-external software package provides authenticate Apache against external authentication services, you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install libapache2-mod-authnz-external
libapache2-mod-authnz-external is installed in your system.
Make ensure the libapache2-mod-authnz-external package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep libapache2-mod-authnz-external*
