libapache-htpasswd-perl software package provides Manage Unix crypt-style password file, you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install libapache-htpasswd-perl
libapache-htpasswd-perl is installed in your system.
Make ensure the libapache-htpasswd-perl package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep libapache-htpasswd-perl *
You will get with libapache-htpasswd-perl package name, version, architecture and description in a table
