libamu-dev software package provides Support library for amd the 4.4BSD automounter (development), you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install libamu-dev
libamu-dev is installed in your system.
Make ensure the libamu-dev package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep libamu-dev *
You will get with libamu-dev package name, version, architecture and description in a table
