How to uninstall or remove libaiksaurus-1.2-0c2a software package from Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr)

You can uninstall or removes an installed libaiksaurus-1.2-0c2a package itself from Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) through the terminal,

$ sudo apt-get remove libaiksaurus-1.2-0c2a

Uninstall libaiksaurus-1.2-0c2a including dependent package

If you would like to remove libaiksaurus-1.2-0c2a and it's dependent packages which are no longer needed from Ubuntu,

$ sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove libaiksaurus-1.2-0c2a

Use Purging libaiksaurus-1.2-0c2a

If you use with purge options to libaiksaurus-1.2-0c2a package all the configuration and dependent packages will be removed.

$ sudo apt-get purge libaiksaurus-1.2-0c2a

If you use purge options along with auto remove, will be removed everything regarding the package, It's really useful when you want to reinstall again.

$ sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove libaiksaurus-1.2-0c2a
