libafpclient-dev software package provides Client for the Apple Filing Protocol (AFP) (development files), you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install libafpclient-dev
libafpclient-dev is installed in your system.
Make ensure the libafpclient-dev package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep libafpclient-dev *
You will get with libafpclient-dev package name, version, architecture and description in a table
