libadios-dev software package provides ADIOS Adaptable IO system for simulations, you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install libadios-dev
libadios-dev is installed in your system.
Make ensure the libadios-dev package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep libadios-dev *
You will get with libadios-dev package name, version, architecture and description in a table
