libaa-bin software package provides sample programs using aalib, you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install libaa-bin
libaa-bin is installed in your system.
Make ensure the libaa-bin package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep libaa-bin *
You will get with libaa-bin package name, version, architecture and description in a table
