How to uninstall or remove lib64gcc1-dbg-powerpc-cross software package from Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr)

You can uninstall or removes an installed lib64gcc1-dbg-powerpc-cross package itself from Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) through the terminal,

$ sudo apt-get remove lib64gcc1-dbg-powerpc-cross

Uninstall lib64gcc1-dbg-powerpc-cross including dependent package

If you would like to remove lib64gcc1-dbg-powerpc-cross and it's dependent packages which are no longer needed from Ubuntu,

$ sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove lib64gcc1-dbg-powerpc-cross
Use Purging lib64gcc1-dbg-powerpc-cross

If you use with purge options to lib64gcc1-dbg-powerpc-cross package all the configuration and dependent packages will be removed.

$ sudo apt-get purge lib64gcc1-dbg-powerpc-cross

If you use purge options along with auto remove, will be removed everything regarding the package, It's really useful when you want to reinstall again.

$ sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove lib64gcc1-dbg-powerpc-cross
