ldapscripts software package provides Add and remove users and groups (stored in a LDAP directory), you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install ldapscripts
ldapscripts is installed in your system.
Make ensure the ldapscripts package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep ldapscripts *
You will get with ldapscripts package name, version, architecture and description in a table
