language-selector-gnome software package provides Language selector for Ubuntu, you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install language-selector-gnome
language-selector-gnome is installed in your system.
Make ensure the language-selector-gnome package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep language-selector-gnome *
You will get with language-selector-gnome package name, version, architecture and description in a table
