How to Install lame software package in Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr)

lame software package provides MP3 encoding library (frontend), you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,

$ sudo apt-get update
$ sudo apt-get install lame

lame is installed in your system.

Make ensure the lame package were installed using the commands given below,

$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep lame *

You will get with lame package name, version, architecture and description in a table
