ladspa-sdk software package provides sample tools for linux-audio-dev plugin architecture, you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install ladspa-sdk
ladspa-sdk is installed in your system.
Make ensure the ladspa-sdk package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep ladspa-sdk *
You will get with ladspa-sdk package name, version, architecture and description in a table
