l2tp-ipsec-vpn software package provides control your L2TP IPsec VPN connections, you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install l2tp-ipsec-vpn
l2tp-ipsec-vpn is installed in your system.
Make ensure the l2tp-ipsec-vpn package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep l2tp-ipsec-vpn *
You will get with l2tp-ipsec-vpn package name, version, architecture and description in a table
