kubuntu-active-default-setting software package provides transitional dummy package, you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install kubuntu-active-default-setting
kubuntu-active-default-setting is installed in your system.
Make ensure the kubuntu-active-default-setting package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep kubuntu-active-default-setting*
You will get with kubuntu-active-default-setting package name, version, architecture and description in a table
