How to uninstall or remove kdevplatform7-libs software package from Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr)

You can uninstall or removes an installed kdevplatform7-libs package itself from Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) through the terminal,

$ sudo apt-get remove kdevplatform7-libs

Uninstall kdevplatform7-libs including dependent package

If you would like to remove kdevplatform7-libs and it's dependent packages which are no longer needed from Ubuntu,

$ sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove kdevplatform7-libs

Use Purging kdevplatform7-libs

If you use with purge options to kdevplatform7-libs package all the configuration and dependent packages will be removed.

$ sudo apt-get purge kdevplatform7-libs

If you use purge options along with auto remove, will be removed everything regarding the package, It's really useful when you want to reinstall again.

$ sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove kdevplatform7-libs
