kdetoys software package provides desktop toys from the official KDE 4 release, you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install kdetoys
kdetoys is installed in your system.
Make ensure the kdetoys package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep kdetoys *
You will get with kdetoys package name, version, architecture and description in a table
