kdesdk software package provides Software Development Kit from the official KDE release, you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install kdesdk
kdesdk is installed in your system.
Make ensure the kdesdk package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep kdesdk *
You will get with kdesdk package name, version, architecture and description in a table
