How to Install jftp software package in Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr)

jftp software package provides Java GUI client for FTP, SMB, SFTP and NFS, you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,

$ sudo apt-get update
$ sudo apt-get install jftp

jftp is installed in your system.

Make ensure the jftp package were installed using the commands given below,

$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep jftp *

You will get with jftp package name, version, architecture and description in a table
