How to Install jetty software package in Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr)

jetty software package provides Java servlet engine and webserver, you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,

$ sudo apt-get update
$ sudo apt-get install jetty

jetty is installed in your system.

Make ensure the jetty package were installed using the commands given below,

$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep jetty *

You will get with jetty package name, version, architecture and description in a table
