How to Install istanbul software package in Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr)

istanbul software package provides Desktop session recorder producing Ogg Theora video, you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,

$ sudo apt-get update
$ sudo apt-get install istanbul

istanbul is installed in your system.

Make ensure the istanbul package were installed using the commands given below,

$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep istanbul *

You will get with istanbul package name, version, architecture and description in a table
