How to Install inputlirc software package in Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr)

inputlirc software package provides Zeroconf LIRC daemon using input event devices, you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,

$ sudo apt-get update
$ sudo apt-get install inputlirc

inputlirc is installed in your system.

Make ensure the inputlirc package were installed using the commands given below,

$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep inputlirc *

You will get with inputlirc package name, version, architecture and description in a table
