How to Install ifeffit software package in Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr)

ifeffit software package provides Interactive XAFS analysis program, you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,

$ sudo apt-get update
$ sudo apt-get install ifeffit

ifeffit is installed in your system.

Make ensure the ifeffit package were installed using the commands given below,

$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep ifeffit *

You will get with ifeffit package name, version, architecture and description in a table
