How to Install hdparm software package in Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr)

hdparm software package provides tune hard disk parameters for high performance, you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,

$ sudo apt-get update
$ sudo apt-get install hdparm

hdparm is installed in your system.

Make ensure the hdparm package were installed using the commands given below,

$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep hdparm *

You will get with hdparm package name, version, architecture and description in a table
