How to Install gwhois software package in Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr)

gwhois software package provides generic Whois Client / Server, you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,

$ sudo apt-get update
$ sudo apt-get install gwhois

gwhois is installed in your system.

Make ensure the gwhois package were installed using the commands given below,

$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep gwhois *

You will get with gwhois package name, version, architecture and description in a table
