grub-disk software package provides GRUB bootable disk image (dummy package), you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install grub-disk
grub-disk is installed in your system.
Make ensure the grub-disk package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep grub-disk *
You will get with grub-disk package name, version, architecture and description in a table
