gridengine-master software package provides Distributed resource management - Master Server, you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install gridengine-master
gridengine-master is installed in your system.
Make ensure the gridengine-master package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep gridengine-master *
You will get with gridengine-master package name, version, architecture and description in a table
