golang-go-xdg-dev software package provides Go interface for XDG standards, you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install golang-go-xdg-dev
golang-go-xdg-dev is installed in your system.
Make ensure the golang-go-xdg-dev package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep golang-go-xdg-dev *
You will get with golang-go-xdg-dev package name, version, architecture and description in a table
