gnu-smalltalk-el software package provides GNU Smalltalk Emacs front-end, you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install gnu-smalltalk-el
gnu-smalltalk-el is installed in your system.
Make ensure the gnu-smalltalk-el package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep gnu-smalltalk-el *
You will get with gnu-smalltalk-el package name, version, architecture and description in a table
